~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Wrap yourself in luxury with this three color Moebius. Available in a generous 12 sizes, this cowl / wrap is knit in one piece from the center outward ending with an I-cord bind off. Beginning with a Moebius cast on (both a picture tutorial and a video link are included) the clever placement of the three Palette colors creates a wonderful depth to this design. Whether you wear it as a cowl, shoulder wrap, combination head cover and scarf – tucked or wrapped singly, double or triple – this pattern will give endless opportunity to play with style and color.
Interchangeable needles were a great bonus in working this sample. The ability to use two different size needle tips, while not essential, made creating this particular design so much easier (see pattern notes for full details).
Notions
Stitch marker, yarn needle
This Moebius is knit in the round, from the centre outward, beginning with a Moebius Cast On (a technique sheet and link to Cat Bordhi’s video included) and finishes with an I-Cord Bind Off. When knitting a Moebius in the round, stitches on both ‘outside edges’ are worked; the round is complete when the end of round marker is reached again on the needles. Pattern is written only.
If using interchangeable tips on the circular needle, attaching a 3.5 mm / US 6 tip for the left needle will make it easier to work this design on Rnd 2. Since gauge is determined by the right needle tip, using a smaller tip for the left needle will not affect gauge.
