VNeck Special Slipover
This design is knitted top-down seamlessly in stockinette stitch, holding 3 strands of yarn. The slipover is knitted partially flat and partially in the round.
You will begin by knitting flat the back until the underarms. Then, separately knit each shoulder flat at the front, shaping the v-neckline at the same time. The front and the back will then be joined together and the rest of the body will be knitted in the round. The body is finished off with 1x1 ribbing and a tubular bind off for an elastic effect. Next, you will pick up stitches along the armholes to create the ribbing. To create the neckband you will pick up stitches around the neckline. Neckband is knitted flat in 1x1 ribbing and bound off with a classic bind off to maintain the shape.
