Voice 12 - Natalie
We invited members of the East London Crochet group, new and old, to come together and use each of their individual styles to each design a strip that can be joined together to create a single bed size blanket, this is Strip 10 designed by Natalie Bowers who is the granddaughter of Barbara Mann one of the original founders of the group and is based on a beautiful blackwork pattern and is probably the trickiest of the strips as the edges are not a solid line.
Please take the time to check out the introduction to the CAL if you have not used an ELCG pattern before. Each pattern includes written instructions plus a graph (ELCG style)
The patterns will be released monthly on the first Tuesday of the month GMT time, the strips do not have to be joined in order of their release.
All of our samples have been made in DK yarn on a 4.5mm hook which makes approx. a 15cm by 120cm strip.
For each strip you will need approx 205m of two strongly contrasting colours.
