This circular shawl is worked in the round from the center outwards in stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch sections. Increases are made along curving yarn over columns. The triangular applied border is worked last. The shawl is completely reversible, but the instructions refer to RS and WS for clarity.
Materials:
• Yarn: 3 skeins of Nature’s Luxury On Stage – Short Stories (50% wool, 30% silk, 20% camel, 219 yds / 200 m – 100 g). Or approx. 657 yds / 600 m of DK weight yarn.
• Needles: US 8 / 5 mm needles DPNs and 32” / 80 cm of circular needles.
• 8 stitch markers (one in a different colour to mark BOR).
The blue sample was knit using Nature’s Luxury On Stage – Short Stories in the colourway Night Shift. The black sample was knit using Madelinetosh Tosh DK (100% superwash merino wool, 225 yds / 205 m – 100 g) in colourway Onyx, and Isager Silk Mohair (75% kid mohair, 25% silk, 232 yds / 212 m – 25 g) in the colourway 47.
Gauge:
14 sts x 24 rnds = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
