Void Cat is crocheted mostly in one piece, with only the ears and tail to sew. Both yarns are held together while crocheting; the Red Heart can be substituted for any worsted weight yarn, but the Caribou yarn can only be replaced by a similar thin fake fur yarn. Every fake fur yarn seems to claim to be bulky yarn, but some aren’t. Go For Faux would be too bulky to hold double with the worsted weight, but something like Yarn Bee’s Snuggle Up would work well.

Void Cat is made mostly with basic single crochet, chain stitches, and slip stitches, but the tail does use foundation halfdouble crochet and foundation single crochet.
