Voie lactée is French for Milky Way.

This little crescent shaped shawl is worked from the neck down and has been designed to be knit in light fingering weight or heavy laceweight.

The textured stitch in the middle is simple yet elegant, and the lacy shell shaped border makes it really unique and feminine.

Voie lactée can be knit in a variety of sizes (instructions included in pattern) making it truly adaptable.

Pattern has been tested and is available both in French and English.

To get a nice shell border make sure you have lots of pins available, and I mean A LOT! :)
