Volta
Meandering lines, interesting textures, reversible cables, next-to-the-skin soft yarn—this is Volta in just a few words. The shawl starts with a small cast on and grows in an organic way with increases worked along the long edge, creating a modern asymmetric shape. Although the beautiful flowing pattern may look complicated at first, it is created with very simple ribbing and a few basic cables.
Volta is worked seamlessly in one piece, from end-to-end, and the finished size can be easily customized to accommodate additional yardage. The attractive edgings along all three sides are not only decorative but also convenient for finishing of the project, because the blocking wires can be easily threaded through the yarn over eyelets.
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement.
