Voodoo Bears are excellent fall decorations – they are both cute and perfectly “scary” for Halloween! They would make great trick-or-treat gifts for adults and children alike! You can make them in any color combination and there many ways to make the eyes and decorate the bodies to show their personalities!

When made with size 4 yarn, the bears are about 8” (20 cm) tall when sitting.

Materials:
1) Worsted yarn in main bear color
2) Worsted yarn in secondary bear color
3) Small amount of contrasting yarn for embroidery
4) 3.5 mm (USE4) hook for main toy
5) 2.25 mm (USB1) hook for eyes
6) Polyfiber filling for the toy
7) Blunt tapestry needle
If embroidering the eye or making bulge eyes:
8) Size 2 yarn in black (for eye iris or embroidery)
9) Size 2 yarns in red and white (for bloodshot eye)
10) OR safety plastic eyes if not embroidering;
11) OR buttons if you want to use them for eyes.
