what you will need:
yarn ~ GRAY (MC), a bit if ANY COLOR (accent color (AC), a bit of BLACK if using only one safety eye
BLACK embroidery thread for stitches around heart (or pull one strand of yarn by separating it ~ see photo)
hook size to match yarn weight
stitch marker
poly-fil for stuffing
pins to hold while attaching pieces
scissors
yarn needle
safety eye

abbreviations:
st(s) ~ stitch(es)
mr ~ magic ring
ch ~ chain
sc ~ single crochet
hdc ~ half double crochet
inc ~ increase
dec ~ decrease
sk ~ skip
rpt ~ repeat
rnd ~ round
bbl ~ bobble stitch (link provided) make sure to use 5dc bbl
F/O ~ fasten off

notes:

1. this pattern is worked in continuous rounds & US terms
2. I use the yarn over technique, using a different may throw sts off
3. I use the invisible decrease technique
4. I used “I Love This Yarn” in GRAY, a bit of ANY COLOR, a bit of BLACK
5. I used a “F” size hook
6. I used 9mm safety eye ~ I only used one
