This pattern has been re-released by Sara Morris as Vero Verto.

Elongated slip stitches swirl around the crown of this hat, creating the illusion of movement. Knit from the top down, this pattern can be adapted to fit like a beanie or made to slouch even more.

Pattern uses 2 skeins. Samples shown in Heichi, colors ‘Steel’ and ‘Lichen’.

• Errata has been found in the Vortex pattern. On completing the crown increases (Rnds 1 - 22), there will be 88 sts.

• The abbreviation for C1 over 1R is missing: “slip 1 st onto cable needle and hold in back, k next st, k1 st off of cable needle”.
