Vronshi socks
Vronshi socks are knit from the cuff down with an all-over print.
You start the socks with a cuff in 3x1 rib, then work the leg in print. You then start increasing for the instep. Heel turn is worked with short rows. The sole is worked in 3x1 rib, while the top of the foot continues in print.
The socks are finished off with a Kitchener graft.
Skill level
Intermediate. Long-tail Cast on, knit and purl stitches, increases, decreases, Kitchener stitch.
Sizes
US women’s shoe size 3-4 (5-6; 7-8; 9-10; 11-12)
EUR women’s shoe size 35-36 (37-38; 39-40; 41-42; 43-44)
Yarn
Socks are designed for fingering weight sock yarn.
You need 210 (260; 320; 380; 440) meters / 230 (285; 350; 415; 480) yards of yarn.
Tools
Stitch markers, darning needle for bind off, row counter (optional), scissors.
