Wabakimi is named after Wabakimi Provincial Park located in Northern Ontario, Canada. The word Wabakimi is thought to originate from the Ojibway/Ojibwe word “Waubishkaugimi” meaning “whitewater”. The Wabakimi hat is a universal DK weight hat knit using Hello Stella Fibres Rustic DK yarn. The design features a squishy garter brim and texture, created using twisted rib stitch, that resembles old log cabins. Directions are included to knit the hat flat or in the round. This hat is cozy, has a range of sizes, and is perfect for all those outdoor adventures.
