Waffle Loop Roll Neck
WAFFLE_LOOP_ROLL-NECK is a simple sweater worked in waffle structure with elegant details in rib stitch. The sweater features a turtleneck and a loose fit.
The sweater is worked top down. First, stitches are cast on for the neckline, which is worked flat in the waffle structure with rib stitches on both sides of the work. Simultaneously, the top of the back is shaped using increase, followed by picking up stitches along the shoulders. The shoulders are then worked flat and one at a time to later be joined for the front by casting on stitches. The front and back are joined and the body is worked in the round in the waffle structure with ribbing in the sides. The sleeve stitches are then picked up in the arm hole and the sleeves are worked in the round in the waffle structure and concluded with a ribbed cuff. Finally, stitches are picked up along the neckline to be worked in rib stitch and bound off using Italian bind off.
