A cold morning, a Target run, yoga pants, and giant sunglasses. All that is missing is this cowl. The beautiful texture just lays so nicely over your sweater or under your jacket. This pattern comes with a photo guide to help even new beginners master the Waffle Stitch.
This pattern have been tech edited AND pattern tested. Due to its digital nature, it is not available for refunds. However, I am happy to answer any questions concerning the pattern!

Materials Needed:
• Lion Brand, Heartland, worsted 4 100% acrylic; 251 yards / 230 m per 142 g skein; color: Wolf Trap; 2 skeins
• K-10.5 (6.5mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
Brim Gauge:
4 dc by 3 rows = 1 in (2.5 cm)
Waffle Stitch Gauge:
14 DC by 12 rows = 4 in (10 cm)

Special Stitches:
• Back Post Double Crochet BPDC Instructions: YO, insert your hook from back to front around the post of the next stitch, YO and pull up a loop, YO and pull through two loops on hook, YO and pull through remaining two loops.
• Foundation Double Crochet FDC Instructions: CH 2, YO, insert hook into the first CH, YO, pull through, YO, pull through one loop (creates a CH), YO, pull through two loops, YO, pull through last two loops. Repeat the stitch into the CH created at the beginning of the stitch.
• Front Post Double Crochet FPDC Instructions: YO, insert your hook from front to back around the post of the next stitch, YO and pull up a loop, YO and pull through two loops on hook, YO and pull through remaining two loops.
Pattern Notes
• Cowl is worked from bottom up, starting with the brim then moving to the body.
• Pattern is worked in joined rounds
• Join with a slip stitch to 1st stitch in round.
• CH 1 at beginning of round does not count as stitch
• To adjust the width of cowl, work multiples of 6 in the foundation round.
• To adjust height of cowl, repeat rounds 7-8 until you get the height you desire.
