The perfect hat for the difficult to please person in your life who wants a bit of flair but no cables or other fussy elements. It’s a tough line to walk as a knitter without making just another boring ribbed or stockinette hat so I went into my stitch library and came up with this easy to follow pattern with a single “twist” to make even a ribbed hat more fun to knit for the person in your life who has a cold head and no desire to wear anything over it.

The bonus of this stitch is that the hat does not cling to your head so your hair style is not crushed underneath.
