The object of this pattern was to have it be simple and affordable while looking impressive and expensive and, of course, being soft enough for a baby.

Affordable: Blanket is made using one $10 cone of Kraemer yarns 100% brushed acrylic. Although the yarn is fingering weight, the pattern uses Navajo method of creating 3 strands while pulling from single strand cone. Link to video on Navajo method included. Very simple once you get started.

Simple: The entire pattern is done with just knits and slips… not a single purl stitch! The only ‘trick’ is remembering to slip stitches with yarn in front on wrong side rows.

Soft: Kraemers brushed acrylic is super soft and creates a bit of a fuzzy finish.
