This cap gets its name because it the pattern reminds me of Belgian Waffles or waffle fries!

Made with a super bulky yarn, Noro Kureyon Air is used here, this is a super quick knit. I am new to the Noro world, as I always thought the yarn felt scratchy. In fact, it knits up to a comfortable, super-easy-to-knit cap. You get to do a vikkel braid at the beginning too. A favorite of mine. There’s lots of negative ease in this stretchy topper. The Adult size (shown in photo) fits me fine but I prefer the Large Adult as I have curly hair. Buy faux fur pom poms that snap on and change the pompom color according to your wardrobe or mood! Any yarn that meets gauge can be used. A solid will show off the stitch differently and make it look like a whole different hat.

Finished Circumference: approximately 15 ( 16.5 ,18, 19.5) inches / 38 ( 42, 46, 50) cm above brim, slightly stretched

Finished Height: appr 8.5 (9, 9, 9) inches / 21.5 (23, 23, 23) cm

Gauge: 11 sts x 19 rows = 4 in / 10 cm in Waffle Stitch, slightly stretched
