The Waiscoat cross stitch rug pattern is a free round rug pattern

The original rug was made using very thick flat t-shirt yarn, which is recommended for this pattern, but can not be found in many countries these days.

• gauge refers to a 10 cm diameter of work after working the base round + 2 first rounds, but it’s only for reference of my yarn thickness.

The pattern can also be used with thinner threads, for round hats, bags, purses, pillows and more.
