Walden Cowl
The color of this cowl reminded me of the color of ponds and the landscape around them. I chose Walden pond because the simple elegance of the cowl reflects Henry David Thoreau’s experiment of the “simple life” which is chronicled in his book Walden : or, Life in the Woods.
“I learned this, at least, by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.”
― Henry David Thoreau, Walden: Or, Life in the Woods
