I love the little wood and felt gnomes I keep seeing but I haven’t found anywhere to buy the wooden bases from so I decided to create something similar in crochet for our nature table.

The gnome is approximately 4 “ high and is worked in double knitting weight yarn but these could be made in any weight yarn, adjusting the hook size accordingly.

These can be made in any colour of your choice and look lovely on a nature table and as decorations in a child’s room. I am currently working on a full rainbow range to help my daughter with her colours and they look very sweet sat on a bookshelf:)
