No matter the weather, taking a walk amongst the pine trees is an opportunity to connect with nature and to appreciate the unwavering beauty of the world around us. Inspired by the beautiful pine trees that stay green all year long, the Walk Amongst the Pines Hat is sure to be a staple in your fall wardrobe. This slouchy style beanie is knit in a soft worsted weight, making it lightweight yet cozy, perfect for those crisp fall days.

The size of this hat can be adjusted by adding/subtracting multiples of 12 stitches to the cast-on number (approximately 2.25 “ /5.75 cm for every 12 stitches).

The sample yarn stretched a lot upon blocking, which helps to create the slouchy fit of the fabric. Your swatch should be measured to check the gauge both unblocked and blocked.

Finished Measurements (Blocked):

• 24” / 61 cm (head circumference)
• 10 “ /25 cm (height from crown to edge)

Worn with approximately 2” / 5 cm of positive ease.

This pattern has been assessed with MS Word and Adobe Acrobat read aloud functionalities to test for screen reader compatibility.

A low vision version is also included that has:

• 24 point Arial font
• Black text
• No italics
• No columns
• All written directions (no charts)
