This is a pattern for a hat that is knit completely sideways, using short row shaping for the crown. It is meant to be worn with up to 2 inches of negative ease.

It is available in 7 sizes as follows:

When choosing a size, it is important to know the recipient’s head measurement as the average measurement are not accurate for all people.
