Walk on the Water
This pattern is no longer available.
This is such a deep, squishy, soulful shawl. The woolen spun yarn is so light and delicate, while the thick reversible cables offer so much squish. Like an airy blanket, it’s perfect for wrapping around your shoulders on a cold night while you sit by the fire, or draping around your neck as a cowl to add style to a basic outfit. Because it has no wrong side, it always looks just right!
Pattern Notes
Walk on the Water is a worsted weight, reversible crescent shawl with increases on both sides. The body of the shawl is in broken rib stitch, and the reversible cable border is knit on last.
This pattern lends itself to a lot of flexibility. You can have fun trying out different weights of yarn, different fiber contents and needle sizes. For example, fingering weight yarn on a US #6/ 4 mm needle creates fabric with a lovely drape.
