Walk With Me Hat
It is about time I published another pattern.
After a bit of a creative struggle I have designed a lovely hat for my husband who I take long winter walks with.
He always turns the rib over on his hats, so I designed the turn back right into this pattern. He likes an even fit; not too tight and not too loose. Covering his ears is a must but not too low over his eyes. And a smooth fit around his head; no slouch or sag for him.
If you want more slouch you can add more rounds between the colourwork motifs. You will need more yarn for this.
I had several left over bits to work into this hat, and I still have enough left over for another hat. You could probably get 4 hats out of 4 skeins of yarn. So if you choose to make your hat out of 4 colours you will have lots of yarn for another hat or 3.
