This sweater combines vintage styling with a hint of grandpa cardigan comfort. Virtually seamless and worked from the top down in medium-weight wool, it works up quite quickly. And with its pretty shawl collar and bracelet-length sleeves, this dressy little cardigan will be a new favorite for crisp autumn walks.

Skills needed
Knit/purl, working in the round, picking up and knitting, basic sewing. Short rows are required for the collar, but they are easy to do!

Construction Notes
The body is worked in one piece from the neck down to the underarms. The rest of the body is worked to the bottom edge with no shaping at the sides. The sleeves are knit in the round from the underarms. The front bands and collar are picked up and worked together. The collar is shaped with short rows.
