The perfect scarf for that early morning walk - with or without your favorite pooch. Deep pockets hold essentials, and the cozy hood is flattering worn either up or down. It is formed with a little short row shaping and grafting for a totally seamless and stretchy fit. Garter stitch, i-cord, and ribbing, in bulky weight yarn, provide some classic comfort knitting with quick results.

This design is suitable for knitters who are comfortable with knitting, purling, decreasing and picking up stitches on an edge. The short rows are explained in the pattern directions and a special techniques page describes the increases, i-cord, and grafting. The pattern is four pages long and has been test knit and professionally tech edited to be clear and free of errors.
