A pattern to knit an elegant pair of fingerless mitts, perfect for walking your elegant hound. They take only a small amount of yarn (less than 2 oz all together) so are ideal for using up luxury 4 ply leftovers from special projects. The addition of some rich colours, and just a very few beads ( less is more!), make these mitts very stylish wear for walking this very special breed.

At least two contrasting colour 4 ply fingering weight yarns are required, plus minute amounts of bright coloured leftovers if you want to make the wrist band stand out. Any Fingering weight would be suitable, but I recommend Drops Baby Alpaca for the Saluki, as it is very soft and has a slight halo.

Size 8 Myuki beads add optional sparkle; only 20 are needed.

One size is given, but the mitts could be made larger or smaller by adjusting needle size, and varying the cuff lengths.
