Everyone knows wallflowers can turn out to be the most interesting
people at a party, but did you know there’s also a real wallflower of the flora variety? This blanket is a nod to both of its namesakes.

Worked with worsted weight yarn, this project is a great stashbuster,
but would look equally arresting in two or three colours. Though made up of hundreds of little squares, the Wallflower works up quickly, and joining motifs is made simple due to their orientation. A simple border adds the perfect finishing touch.

Hook size: 6 mm
Yardage: about 2800 yds (2560 m) of worsted weight yarn for the motifs, and 650 yds (600 m) of worsted weight yarn for joining motifs and crocheting border.
Blanket size: Approximately 64” x 56”.
