Wally the walrus was fed up with lockdown. He packed his little suitcase, jumped onto the first iceberg he could find and off he went. He visited Ireland first and then moved on to Tenby where he stayed for a while, watching the lifeboat launch, posing for the humans who came to visit him and dining out every day on the delicious local seafood. Now he’s on his travels again. He popped into Cornwall to say hello and then headed off to France, who knows where he’ll turn up next! He is just over 12 inches long - including flippers (when made with the recommended materials).

The 9 page pattern is intermediate skill level and is available in US and UK terminology – both versions will be available for you to download. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures for step by step making and assembly. There are also picture instructions for colour change, back loop only and front post stitch.

The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern:
US Terminology - slip stitch, magic ring, single crochet, half double crochet, increase, decrease (sc2tog), colour change, back loop only, front post single crochet
UK Terminology - slip stitch, magic ring, double crochet, half treble, increase, decrease (dc2tog), colour change, back loop only, front post double crochet
