Thank you so much for checking out captain Waldorf! I wanted to make a pirate something and as I worked up my first version from the bottom up, my creation just screamed walrus to me. Captain Waldorf loves to explore the open sea in hopes of finding the most interesting sea creature friends. I hope you enjoy making this pattern, and I hope it brings a smile to whoever receives it!

As with most amigurumi, this walrus can be worked up in any yarn you choose. Just be sure to select a matching hook size for your yarn. This is an advanced beginner/intermediate level pattern that is worked from the bottom up, with legs, body, and head crocheted together as you go. Fins, face details, and sleeves are sewn on later.
