Walter the Whale is a cheery and cute crocheted whale that makes a perfect gift or addition to your own stuffed animal collection! Stitch this fella up in bright colors for a whale that truly stands out from the rest. This pattern is fairly easy and does stitch up quick but also requires knowledge on the magic ring method.

I used Red Heart Super Saver Solid colors for my versions of Walter but any worsted weight yarn should work fine here. Only about 1/4 of the skein of yarn was used to make the main body of the whale and a scrap amount only was needed for the belly patch. Walter stitches out at around 6 1/2 inches long once stuffed and finished. This softie is crocheted in pieces and does require the attaching of those pieces at the end (the fins, tail, and belly patch).
