Waltz of the Flowers Blanket
The Waltz of the Flowers blanket is a scrumptious celebration of dancing and flowers.
Work it up in your favourite floral colours to create a stunning throw for your home.
The blanket uses tapestry crochet along with front post stitches to create beautiful and intricate flowery hexagons that really pop.
The pattern includes full written instructions, comprehensive pattern notes, photos and a colourwork chart for making the blanket.
It also includes links to these video tutorials about some of the techniques used:

The finished blanket, made with DK yarn, measures 125 x 130 cm. However, you can easily vary the size of your blanket by making more or fewer hexagons, or using a different weight yarn.
To make the blanket, I used the following yarn:
Scheepjes Scrumptious (50% recycled polyester, 50% acrylic; DK; 300m / 100g ball):
- MC: 4 balls of Butter Cream Icing (302)
- CC1: 1 ball of Blueberry Chocolate Tart (361)
- CC2: 2 balls of Concord Grape Pie (356)
- CC3: 2 balls of Forest Fruit Pound Cake (354)
- CC4: 2 balls of Pistachio Mafroukeh (344)
There are two pdf files for the pattern: one with UK crochet terms and the other with US crochet terms.
Crochet level: Advanced.
