Waltzing Winds - an asymmetrical triangular shawl, knitted from side to side. The alternation of decrease stitches with placed apart eyelet stitches create waving curves. Multiple repeat of the gauge 16 sts x 12 rows creates staggered pattern.
The shawl could be ended after any row, it would not effect the final result. If you have just one skein of yarn around 400 yards, it would make a medium size shawl.
Fringes could be added to the taste of the knitter.
