The Wander Slipover is a fun minimalistic garment with unique stitch pattern and endless colour combination options. The stitch pattern creates a striking grid colour pattern and a yummy squishy “waffle” texture, giving the slipover a textured look and making the garment extra cosy.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES
The slipover is worked in the round and flat, and involves zero seaming. The length can be easily adjusted according to preference and the process is described in the pattern.

The ease recommendation can be followed or ignored. The slipover will look great with more positive ease as well as with zero ease. Please see test knitters project pages for more inspiration, regarding ease, length and colour choices.

COLOUR CHOICE NOTES
The pattern is designed using two different colours - one colour (colour B) that forms the vertical and horizontal lines of the grid pattern design, and one colour (colour A) used for the hem ribbing, the rest of the body, armholes and neckline ribbing.

For the sample, solid colours were used for both A and B. Another option can be using a variegated colour for colour A, or just one colour for both A and B. Any combination of colours is possible.

A colour choice with higher contrast will create a brighter slipover with the pattern standing out more. A colour choice with lower contrast will create a more muted, calmer look, where the pattern will be less visible. Using just one colour will highlight the “waffle” texture of the design. Using the darker colour of the two chosen ones for colour B will produce a different visual effect than using it for colour A.
