The inspiration behind this bookmark pattern is a simple one. One night, my husband came to me and asked for a bookmark. Simple design with a striped pattern. I picked some thread, grabbed a hook, and sat down to work. A few tries later, I found a design that felt right, and the Wanderer Bookmark was born. The name? I just liked it.

You are welcome to use your preferred hook size for crochet thread. The final project size and yardage used will be different as a result.

As with any of my crochet thread projects, try this out with different weight yarns! Use the hook size recommended for your yarn.

Don’t want stripes? That’s great! The pattern is written with no specified color changes so you can do your own stripe pattern or omit the stripes altogether and have a solid colored bookmark.
