Wandering Fern Socks
I was inspired to create these socks from my childhood in New Zealand. Whenever we went for hikes in the bush I would always rush over to the ferns and flip them over to see if it was a silver fern or as I called them ponga (Te Reo Māori).
This fun design is the perfect pattern to get you started on 2 stranded colorwork. It uses an afterthought heel for mindless knitting, no need to keep track of gusset stitches!
