Wandering Fjord Socks
Inspired by the intriguing shapes of the misty Alaskan fjords, the simple knit and purl stitch pattern is easy enough to knit while on the most distracting of vacations, but interesting enough to keep your reaching for your needles. The stitch pattern combines well with hand painted yarns, but will also work with solid or semi solid yarns to produce an equally striking textural fabric. Either way, these toe-up socks will knit up quickly and are sure to become a cherished addition to your sock wardrobe.
