I really had fun with this pattern, since it was easy to do and it can be approached in a variety of ways. The main pattern I created has “puffs” showing up on either side of the blanket. Often shelters will flip over the blankets (in the case of dirt, etc.) so I wanted the blanket to look lovely both ways.

I’ve also included “alternate ways to use this stitch” after the pattern. One technique will put all the puffs on one side, and one which does not include the DC rows. Enjoy!
