This is the crocheted sister to the knitted “Wandering Scarf”. The chart and row by row instructions are almost identical. Only the row numbering and symbol definitions vary.

The pictured scarf was crocheted using mosaic overlay crochet worked on the right side only. An appendix at the end of the pattern includes tips for adapting overlay charts for other crochet variations: reversible (negative), back and forth, and Tunisian, as well as knit variations: overlay or slip stitch.
