Wandering Thoughts
Wandering Thoughts is worked from the cuff up to the fingers. You will work a crochet cast on and then work the cuff and part of the mitten. Then you place an afterthought thumb and pick up those stitches after finishing the mitt.
The mitts are a great beginner project for diving into smocked stitches and/or knitting with beads. The construction is easy and it takes just enough time to get some practice in and get comfortable with these techniques.
It is also a great stash buster and makes for a wonderful gift.
The pattern includes:
- instructions for 5 sizes
