Cabled scarf with after thought pockets.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:
14” by 67”

GAUGE:
20 stitches & 26.5 rows per 4”

This scarf can also be worked in any weight yarn and needles required to reach a desired gauge.

YARN SUGGESTIONS
Sample is knit with Woolfolk Luft which is advertised as a chunky weight yarn. For me it worked up more like an Aran weight so my suggestions are based on that.

KnitPicks has several bulky weight and heavy worsted yarns that would be fantastic

MATERIALS:
Approximately 725 yards of heavy worsted, Aran, or chunky weight yarn.

Size US 9 - 5.50mm circular, at least 24” to accommodate the number of stitches

Darning needle for blocking

SKILLS REQUIRED:
Simple decreases (k2tog; ssk)
Simple increases (yo)
Cables
Pick up and knit (for the pocket)
Mattress stitch (for the pocket)
