SIZING NOTE

For your reference, our model’s actual palm circumference is 7.5” (19 cm).

CONSTRUCTION

Mitts are worked in the round from the wrist up using mirrored cables and a 2/1 ribbing for added visual interest.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Knit and purl stitches
  • Knitting in the round
  • Increase and decrease stitches - M1L, M1R, K2TOG, SSK
  • Cable stitches - 2/1/2LPC, 2/1/2RPC

This pattern includes complete written directions and is fully charted.

YARN NOTES

A bulky weight yarn with good stitch definition and little to no halo is recommended. Tonal yarn will work, but highly variegated yarn will distract from the cable pattern.

ADDITIONAL NOTIONS

Cable needle
Tapestry/blunt yarn needle
Stitch Markers (3)
Scrap (approx 6”/15 cm) of waste yarn
