Knit your very own WordPress mascot - Wapuu!

Designed for WordCamp London and WordCamp Brighton, this Wapuu pattern gives you all the tips and tricks you need to build your own Wapuu.

Although there’s specified yarn, needles, and gauge, this is a very loose project designed to be knitted with whatever you want. Just make sure it’s a tight gauge and all your yarn is the same weight.

You’ll need the following:

• Yarn in gold, blue, and orange
• Double-pointed or circular needles in a size to provide a tight gauge
• Child-safe eyes or black yarn Stuffing
• Stitch counters
• Row counter
• Sewing needle
• Stuffing

And the following skills:

• Knitting in the round

• Knitting two together decreases

• Slip-slip-knit decreases

• Make one left increase

• Make one right increase

• Knit front-and-back increase

• Picking up stitches

• I-cord

• Sewing
