Waratah
I chose the name Waratah after seeing the seed pods of the Waratah plant. These long pods with their little comparments either side looked exactly like the stitch pattern in this scarf.
A light lacy scarf knitted in a wool and alpaca mix yarn makes a good autumn or spring scarf when the weather is not too cold.
I have also sized this up to make a stole.
