This delightful rattle is a cozy worked around a plastic egg filled with popcorn kernels.
The wings and tail are made in colorful layers; simple embroidery techniques add lovely finishing touches.

Hook Size D/3 (3.25 mm).
Notions Yarn needle; 3” tall plastic Easter egg; 1⁄8 cup popcorn kernels; adhesive tape.
Gauge Gauge is not important for this project.
Notes One of the colors for this project has been discontinued. Two recommended substitutes for #136-169 Shenandoah are #136-369 Shenandoah tweed or #136-158 Yellowstone.
