If you´ve ever played World of Warcraft, it´s likely you will have stumbled onto a little item known as the Bloodelf Bandit Mask.

No matter which fraction you belong to, this is pure awesome.
Of course I had one in the game.
And when I thought about the upcoming winter (and how many scarves I already have or am knitting at the moment) I noticed that I never owned a cowl.

I combined those two and: Bloodelf Bandit Mask!

Well, I never double-knit before and am sort of a beginner at knitting, but I hope that you will like this as much as I do.

EDIT: I added another version of the pattern called “Bloddelf Bandit Mask - revised”. I did add the technique-requirements and fixed a typo; you don´t really need to download this again.
