I can’t get enough of Hexagonals these days!
The Hexie Bundle includes the Vertical Half Hexie and the Horizontal Half Hexie.

The theme is Folk… floral, decorative and textured. As with the Sunday Folk Hexie, Part 2 will be the Half-Hexies ( horizontal and Vertical ).

I hope you enjoy making these Hexies as much as I enjoy designing them. My inspiration is Nordic, Germanic, Asian and African Folklore and Mythology which has always fascinated me for their rich, imaginative and magical storytelling.

YARN: Stylecraft Special DK ( stash buster ). You can use any weight Yarn and matching Hook size.

HOOK SIZE: 4mm but use whichever hook size you prefer to make this Hexie smaller or larger.

SKILL LEVEL: All skill levels.

SIZE: 28cm x 28cm/11” x 11”

CROCHET TERMS: US but think one size up to make UK terms, eg: 1sc US = 1dc UK.

YOU SHOULD BE FAMILIAR WITH THESE CROCHET TERMS AND STITCHES:
Magic Ring ( or Loop ) = MR or ML
Begin = beg
Slip stitch = sl st or ss
Joining Space = JS
Front or back post = fp/bp
Together = tog
Single crochet = sc
Half double crochet = hdc
Double crochet = dc
Treble crochet = tr
Triple Treble crochet = ttr
Puff stitch. Popcorn Stitch. Bobble Stitch. Surface Crochet. Crossed Stitch ( Youtube has excellent stitch tutorials ).
Fasten off = fasten off (because when I said FO you all laughed).
