This is an adult size hat to fit approximate head circumference of 21-22” The gauge is for the ribbing since this is the crucial part of the hat as far as fit goes.

The texture of the pattern is created using a long slip stitch. You wrap the yarn 2x around the needle and the then the wraps are dropped on the following rows. It is a quick fun knit. SLIP ALL STITCHES AS IF TO PURL.

The hat has a flat top, which is very pretty in this color changing yarn, but you can use any worsted striping yarn.I

This finished hat before blocking is about 8.75” tall and 18” around.
