I wanted to knit a fun and chic yet warm shawl for a friend with cancer, something to comfort her when she’s receiving treatments at the cold, drafty hospital. I thought an homage to Missoni’s wavy patterns would be fun too so there are two different colors. And I wanted it to go fast so she would have the shawl right away hence the superbulky yarn. Finished dimensions = 18” x 72”
