Versatile enough to teach a beginner the basics of a hat, or give a more experienced knitter lots of room to play with colorwork, stripes, or duplicate stitch practice.
You will need eight st markers. The smaller needles are used for ribbing. Any worsted or DK yarn may be used, so long as you can get close to gauge!
In my experiences, the hat will always stretch to accommodate for bigger heads, but you may knit more rounds of plain stockinette before decreasing in order to make the hat longer.

BEING REVISED.
